John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are now parents to three children. As most of you know, Teigen gave birth to daughter Esti Maxine nearly one month ago.
In a new interview with PEOPLE, Legend talked about how he tries his best to help Teigen take care of their newborn.
Obviously I can’t breastfeed her, so I help feed when we use the bottle. I’m happy to change diapers. I’m good at burping her, too.
Another thing he’s good at? Singing. The 44-year-old artist revealed he’s been singing to Esti a lot. He also added that Teigen can carry a tune as well and is very good with lullabies.
But what about Esti’s older siblings? Well, they have been surprisingly okay with the new addition to their family.
Our older kids are really into being older siblings, which we weren’t sure about. It seemed like they might be jealous when Chrissy was pregnant. But since Esti’s been born, they’ve been really loving and wanting to hold her and feed her — just wanting to be good siblings.
So it’s all good right now, but one thing Legend is not looking forward to is traveling with three kids. They haven’t done it yet obviously, but he’s trying to prepare himself. “It’s going to be a lot” he laughed.
