If you didn’t know, ‘Boy Meets World‘ star Matthew Lawrence is dating TLC singer, Chilli. They have been dating for several months now and things appear to be rather serious.
But Lawrence may have messed things up slightly. A week ago, the 43-year-old actor talked about wanting to start a family with Chilli, even hinting that they may be trying soon.
Apparently, this was news to Chilli because Lawrence is now backtracking. In a new interview with E! News, he says he did not mean to put any pressure on his girlfriend. He was simply referring to an idea he and his brother Joey Lawrence had growing up.
It’s such an interesting story. Joe and I were commiserating about this plan that we had to have children together … when we were growing up. And I missed the first go around and now he’s starting a new family and I was thinking, ‘Man, it’d be great if we could do it again, when I didn’t have the chance to raise a family together. So that’s what I meant by that. I didn’t mean to put any pressure on somebody I was dating or anything.
Definitely sounds like he and Chilli had a serious conversation about his comments and he was like, “Okay. I’ll fix it!”
In the interview, he also talked about how Chilli is already an incredible mom to her 25-year-old son, Tron.
She’s already a mother, she has an incredible son. I respect so much as to how she’s raised him. She’d be an incredible mother again and I’d be incredibly lucky but that’s way in the future.
