Actor/comedian Jason Sudeikis has probably helped thousands of kids fall in love with soccer, thanks to his starring role in the hit show, Ted Lasso.

The 47-year-old father was on Late Night with Seth Meyers last week, and he revealed that his 8-year-old son Otis has fallen in love with soccer, thanks in large part to Ted Lasso and spending a lot of time in London.

Oddly enough, Otis has fallen more in love with it since being back here. We got back in like November and we’re out in L.A. right now. He’s really into soccer right now. He did this thing where he loves looking up their cards and videos, and he comes up with fun facts that he finds on YouTube.

He admitted that both Otis and his 6-year-old daughter Daisy had started to develop “tiny accents” during their stay in London, but he says the accents aren’t strong enough yet, “They got as far as like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins. It’s like that.”

Of course, Sudeikis shares both kids with his ex-wife, Olivia Wilde. So they had to split time between London and Los Angeles while he was filming Ted Lasso.

During the interview, he also shared that his kids love making music together.

As I’m coming up the stairs, I can usually hear a keyboard, and I bought two karaoke setups — for me and Forte, but now they’ve now figured out how to turn them on — and they’re making up songs.

Sounds like a happy family to me. Sources say it’s been difficult for both Jason and Olivia since the split, but they are now finding a sweet spot in their coparenting relationship.
