As a parent, watching your kids grow up is rewarding, but also a little sad at the same time. The older they get, the more you realize how little they’re going to need you.
And it looks like Khloe Kardashian is currently experiencing that feeling with her 5-year-old daughter, True.
She went on her Instagram Stories to reveal True just celebrated her 5th birthday. She posted photos of her throughout the years and wrote about how sad she is to watch her grow up so quickly.
Yesterday was True’s 5th birthday and I’m so happy for her, but it’s just so sad how quickly our kids grow. We had the whole day at Disneyland. We had so much fun. I’ve taken about a week and a half off from working out for spring break for the kids and just to be with my kids and enjoy and all that.
She also added that she spent a lot of the day crying. “I am NOT OK,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories.
But on Thursday, Khloe took the spotlight off her own emotions and wrote a pretty heartfelt message to her daughter.
I must’ve done something right, because I have been blessed with one of the most gentle, empathetic, loving, happy, grateful and silly little girls. I’ve dreamt of my daughter for as long as I can remember but my dreams were not even close to the reality that God blessed me with.
How sweet! Happy birthday, True!
