When Kaley Cuoco first announced she was pregnant last year, we all knew she’d be a great mother. It just made sense, you know? Like, “Oh yeah, Kaley? She’ll do great!”

And it looks like we were right. Kaley’s parter, Tom Pelphrey, talked with Access Hollywood this week, and praised Cuoco for her motherly charm.

Oh God, it’s so cool. She is so good at it. You know, it’s like all the qualities that I love Kaley about times 100. She’s so funny and she’s so nurturing and easy and playful and loving…I mean, so loving. You know, it’s beautiful.

The 40-year-old actor also talked about what it felt like holding his baby for the first time inside the hospital.

“It’s just wild. I think you’re almost in a state of happy shock,” he admitted, and then added that when you wake up the next day and the baby is still there, it starts to feel more real.

On Wednesday, Kaley shared a photo in her Instagram Stories of Tom holding their 3-week-old daughter Matilda.

Looks like Matilda lucked out in the parent department!
