‘Dawson’s Creek‘ actor James Van Der Beek is keeping it real on his Instagram account.
Earlier this week, he posted a photo of his six children and captioned the post, “It’s all fun & games until someone gets head lice 🥴.”
Ugh. The worst! Dealing with head lice is never fun, but when you’re trying to treat six kids at the same time? We can only imagine the horror!
The comments were full of people trying to give him helpful tips and tricks.
One user suggested putting tea tree oil or rosemary oil in the kids’ shampoo to combat the insects. Another recommended that James and Kimberly, 41, disinfect their home and vehicles to avoid a second reinfestation.
For those who haven’t been following James’ life since his days on Dawson’s Creek, he’s now 46-years-old and has been married to Kimberly Van Der Beek since 2010. They share six kids together, ranging from age 12 to 16 months.
Safe to say, they have their hands full! A head lice infestation can either make a family stronger or tear them apart. Let’s hope for them it’s the former.
