Are you one of Jordana Brewster’s 4.6 million followers on Instagram? If so, you might notice a change in her feed in the coming months.

During an appearance on the Verywell Mind Podcast, the 42-year-old ‘Fast & Furious‘ star opened up about life with her two sons, 6-year-old Rowan and 9-year-old Julian.

Brewster is known for keeping it real on her Instagram account when it comes to parenting, but now that her kids are getting older, she’s starting to rethink how much she puts out there without their consent.

Recently, my kids are getting older, Julian’s 9, Rowan’s 6. And I find that because I like being brutally honest and because I like veering towards humor, I often talk about them or post about them. But I think I’m not going to do that as much because it’s not fair. They’re not consenting to it. So I’m going to stop that.

It’s pretty neat that she’s even considering this. Most parents will jump at the chance to post something funny or embarrassing their kid did without thinking about how it might impact them later in life.

The actress also got real about “mom guilt” while speaking with host/therapist, Amy Morin.

I think the mom guilt is real. And I also think that society feeds into it. I think I gravitate towards people that also struggle with work-life balance, but I do think that there’s this sort of looking down upon like, ‘Oh, you’re choosing this instead of that,’ And putting one, I’m trying to be very diplomatic here in how I phrase this, but choosing one over the other, as if one choice is better instead of respecting all choices.
