Late last year, 51-year-old actor Mark Wahlberg revealed that he, his wife and their four children were moving out of Los Angeles.
He said they were moving to the suburbs of Las Vegas to focus more on their children, and he’s not the first celebrity to make such a move. You’ll remember Katherine Heigl moved her family out to Utah because she didn’t like raising them in LA.
Six months after making the move, Wahlberg claims his kids are thriving out in Vegas. He told E! News the following…
They love Vegas. I spent lots of time in L.A. pursuing my interests and my career, and now it’s time for them to pursue theirs. Everybody is thriving there, it’s been great.
In addition to a better home life, Wahlberg says living in Vegas has some other advantages, like all the amazing artists who perform there.
So far, Mark has seen Adele and Bruno Mars.
I’ve seen quite a few shows and been to lots of great restaurants. There’s so much to do in Vegas, and it’s so exciting.
