Ben Affleck is stepping up to the plate! Jennifer Lopez spoke with Hoda Kotb on Today this week, and she had nothing but praise for her husband Ben.
She revealed that he’s an amazing father to his own children, and a wonderful stepdad to her two children, Max and Emme.
Well, he’s a wonderful, wonderful father. And a father figure to [Max and Emme] as well, because he has his own three beautiful children, and then there’s us. He’s fantastic. He really steps up to the challenge of what that is and what that means. And they love him. They love him. And they appreciate him, and so do I.
That’s really great to hear. It kinda backs up what we’ve been hearing about Ben. He has reportedly told people in the industry that he wants to focus more on the production side of things, so he can spend more time with his family. With acting, he might be gone three months at a time, and that’s no longer something he’s interested in.
For those who don’t know, Ben has three kids with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. So in total, he has five kids to worry about, ranging from age 11 to 17.
It’s a lot to juggle, but it sounds like Ben is doing a great job.
Lopez also talked about what it was like raising teenagers in today’s world…
They’re challenging and looking at everything, which is great for our world. I feel like they’re going to change the world, quite honestly. And make it so much better than we did.
