What’s a successful career without a loving family? Well, not a lot, according to Priyanka Chopra. As most of you know, the 40-year-old star welcomed her first baby with husband Nick Jonas in January of last year.
And apparently, she’s loving being a mother. In a new interview with Femina, Chopra revealed she would “without question” give up her career for her daughter.
If I were asked to give up my career and just move countries, I would do it without question for my daughter.
She then noted that her parents, Madhu and Ashok, did the same by moving to Mumbai when her acting career started to take off in her teens.
Chopra says now that she’s a mom, she gets it.
I want to go back home. On time. I finish my job really quickly and then I’m home. That doesn’t mean I don’t love my job. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to do it with the same gusto that I did it with before. But, now. I know life is equally important.
Sounds like she’s been struck by motherhood and we could not be happier. It’s so great to see how much love these celebrity moms have for their children.
