Nick Cannon does not want the government in his bag. During a recent appearance on ‘The Jason Lee Podcast‘ Cannon revealed he does not pay child support in the traditional sense.
“I’m not in the child support system that is run by the government,” the 42-year-old entertainer admitted. He then talked about how the six women he has children with can have “whatever they want, whatever they ask for.”
How does this system work? Well, he makes it sound like they all just take money out of a giant bank account.
My money is they [sic] money, they [sic] money is my money. … My account is their account, and there’s a lot in there, so we ain’t gon’ run out. Money comes and goes. I always tell people, ‘Money don’t make you happy. Happy makes you money.’ So I’m always going to be good, and every dollar that I make is for my family.”
That sounds good and all, but what happens if his mindset changes? Or if he doesn’t like how one of the mothers is spending the money? Personally, I’d want something in writing if I were them. Perhaps they have that though.

Cannon also revealed that right now, he spends the most time with his 8-month-old daughter, Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, but that’s mainly because the older siblings are at school and have more activities.
My beautiful daughter Onyx, that’s probably the child that I spend the most time with, really. I’m with her at least three times a week, for the full day.
Still don’t understand how he juggles it all.
