If you’ve been keeping up with the Kardashians, then you may remember hearing that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker were going down the IVF route in an attempt to have a kid together. They each have three kids of their own from previous relationships, but they wanted to have one together.
Unfortunately, the vitro fertilization process hasn’t worked out for them, and during the season three premiere of ‘The Kardashians‘ last night (May 25) Kourtney revealed they are giving up on IVF.
We are officially done with IVF. We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us. If that’s a baby, then I believe that it will happen.
She explained that she froze seven of her eggs when she first started dating Barker, but most of them didn’t survive and none of them “made it to an embryo.”
The freezing of the eggs isn’t guaranteed. I think that that’s a misunderstanding. People do it thinking that it’s like a safety net and it’s not. Whatever’s meant to be. Being happy is most important, and being a good parent to my kids.
One thing’s for sure, she and Travis are certainly trying to give themselves a lot of chances to have a baby. During the premiere episode, they showed a scene where Kourtney delayed a business meeting with her sister so she and Travis could “finish things up” in the bedroom.
