When you have twelve children, you need to be an expert in parenting, and it looks like Nick Cannon is taking his job seriously.
The ‘Wild ‘N Out’ creator was on a podcast called ‘The Language of Love‘ with Dr. Laura Berman earlier this month, and they had a pretty in-depth conversation about parenting.
Cannon discussed his plans to pursue a master’s in psychology and Ph.D. in divinity. He wasn’t originally going to get a master’s in child psychology, but having 12 children changed that.
Yeah, that’ll come in handy. Oh, the presence of a father and how much will they need you and the Freudian aspect of reverting back to your childhood trauma, or the lack thereof. Nature vs nurture. These are conversations I have several times every single day.
Ah, yes. Childhood trauma. Everyone has it, and almost nobody knows how to properly deal with it, so it’s super cool that Cannon is taking time to understand it for his children.
But I’m like, I’m living, whether in therapy on my own or even just wanting to make sure that every single child has what they need, developmentally. And emotionally. I’m studying the brain and at what point does sensory matter.
I personally think he’s spreading himself thin, with multiple jobs, studying for school, and of course juggling twelve kids and six baby mamas.
But hey, we have to give him an A+ for effort.
