Jason Derulo, best known for shouting his name before his songs, recently celebrated his son’s second birthday. For those who don’t know, he shares two-year-old Jason King with his ex, Jena Frumes.
Back in May, Derulo celebrated Jason in a big way for his second birthday. He posted a video from the party, which featured a grand bounce house, a full playground, a ball pit, two slides, and a Baby Shark-themed birthday cake.
As you can see, he also tagged his son in the post. Yes, his 2-year-old son has an Instagram account. And someone using his son’s account (we’re assuming Jason) commented on the post, writing, “Thank you Dada😍”
Ignoring the weirdness of all that, the 33-year-old singer was on an Australian radio show this past week, and during the conversation, he was asked about the extravagant birthday party.
“That didn’t look like a cheap party! How much did it cost?” the host asked. “It was pretty big. It was probably around $30,000,” Jason replied.
That’s a lot of money for any birthday party, let alone a party for a two-year-old, who would probably be happy with an ice cream cake and an iPad.
But hey, if you have the money… use it? I guess?
