Could Jessica Simpson be the latest celebrity to leave Los Angeles? It’s possible. The 43-year-old star and her family spent the summer in Nashville, and during a recent conversation with E! News, Simpson gushed over the city.

She and her husband, Eric Johnson, live in Los Angeles with their three children, ranging from age 11 to 4. According to Jessica, the whole family loved Nashville, but of course, this could just be because they were technically on vacation.
They associate Los Angeles with school, routine and work. And they associate Nashville with summer fun. But still, they wouldn’t be the first celeb family to leave LA. Post Malone took his family to Utah and then Austin after feeling overwhelmed by Los Angeles. Mark Wahlberg recently moved his family out to Las Vegas.
And now that Simpson is jumping back into the music scene, it might make sense for her to move to Nashville.
In an interview with PEOPLE, she talked about how her kids are teaching her to be brave…
I was too nervous to go back into other careers that are my passion until I felt like they were confident enough in school and in life before I would step foot on stage. They’re teaching me to be brave. They’re very excited for me. They know that I’m living my dream and that that’s what I was born to do.
