Kelly Osbourne has been a mother for less than a year, and she’s already realized just how terrifying motherhood can be.

The 38-year-old daughter of rockstar Ozzy Osbourne, welcomed her first child (Sidney) back in November of last year. And in a new interview with E! News this week, she described being a mother as the best thing that’s ever happened to her… while also being scary AF.

I’m a mom now, I love it. It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. It’s scary as f—k because you don’t want to make a mistake. It’s all these little tiny things and these mistakes that you ultimately make because you can’t learn unless you make a mistake.

And that’s a great lesson to learn: there is no such thing as the perfect parent. It simply does not exist. We’re all trying the best we can, and as long as you learn from your mistakes, you’re probably doing a great job.

Kelly went on to talk about how her little one is close to crawling…

He is almost crawling, which is amazing. He is kind of like scooting backwards and turning in circles. Now my favorite thing is that he is, like, mom-obsessed, just where, if he sees me, he is reaching for me and I love it.

Enjoy it now! Before you know it, they’ll be 15 and will want nothing to do with you.
