As most of you know, Rihanna gave birth to her second baby boy on August 1, 2023. She and her partner A$AP Rocky are reportedly taking it easy after the delivery, both enjoying some time off.
They’ve been pretty private when it comes to this second baby, but on Friday (Sept. 8) The Blast obtained the birth certificate, revealing the baby’s name is Riot Rose Mayers.
It is the pair’s second baby name that starts with the letter ‘R,’ and is a possible ode to a family of first names all beginning with the same letter. (Rocky’s legal name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers.)
Sources say Rihanna feels like her family is “complete” now, which seems to indicate she’s done having babies, at least for the time being.
And we can’t blame her for wanting a break. After all, she just welcomed her first baby back in May of 2022, so she barely had a year between deliveries.
The Barbados native announced her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show in Phoenix, making history as the first pregnant woman to star in the halftime show.
