For a long time now, Britney Spears has been paying her ex Kevin Federline $40,000 a month in child support for their two children, 17-year-old Sean and 16-year-old Jayden.

And that agreement has been working out for them, but now that Federline and the kids have moved to Hawaii, he wants Brit-Brit to up the payments because he now has the kids full-time, as opposed to part-time.

It might be a struggle to convince the court of this though because they’ve basically been living with him full-time for the past few years. So why is he just now requesting the increase? Seems suspicious.

Perhaps he’s trying to get the most out of the child support payments before they begin to dwindle. After all, Sean turns 18 soon, which will cut the amount Kevin receives in half.

Sources told TMZ that support for Jayden is expected to remain intact until he graduates high school in June 2025. Page Six reached out to Federline’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens. I can’t imagine the judge granting him an increase in payments, especially since their oldest won’t qualify for payments in less than a week.

Looks like Kevin might have to start making his own money very soon.
