On Thursday’s episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, 41-year-old host Jenna Bush Hager revealed that her 4-year-old son Hal still sleeps inside a crib.
“Hal is still in his crib. At some point do I need to move him out?” She questioned, before adding, “But it’s normal, right?”
That’s when the studio audience responded with a bunch of “no’s,” indicating they don’t exactly approve of a 4-year-old still sleeping in a crib. Jenna joked with them, “What? I wasn’t even asking you! I was asking them!” referring to the audience at home.
Kotb asked Jenna, “How does he get up to go to the bathroom?”
And Jenna responded by claiming he doesn’t usually go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but if he did, there would likely be an accident waiting for her inside the crib.
Kotb then asked if he likes sleeping in the crib, and Jenna claimed he does and that he has made it clear he’s not ready to move out just yet.
I said, ‘Do you want to maybe move…maybe let’s try to talk about maybe moving you next week to your bed.’ And he said, ‘Not this Cwistmas but next Cwistmas,’ He wants to be a kindergartner in his crib. Anyway. To each their own.
In addition to Hal, Jenna shares 8-year-old Poppy and 10-year-old Mila with her husband, Henry Hager.
