On Tuesday, 51-year-old actress Jennifer Garner was on Live with Kelly & Mark to promote her upcoming film, The Family Switch.
During the conversation, Mark and Kelly brought up the fact that Garner’s daughter, Violet, is about to turn 18.
“I’m about to have an adult. Three days. I’m three days from my eldest turning 18. Can you guys believe that?” she responded. For those who don’t know, Garner shares Violet with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. They also have a 14-year-old daughter named Seraphina and an 11-year-old named Samuel.
Ripa asked Garner if she was joining Violet on college tours, and Garner confirmed college touring was happening, and she can see the stress building in her daughter.
I can see the stress — even though the excitement and stress go hand in hand. But she’s handling it like a champ and she’s totally in charge. I’m not having to say, ‘Are you doing this, are you doing this?’ She’s a self-starter. And I’m just proud of her no matter what.
At least Violet doesn’t have to worry about taking out any student loans! Her parents are worth a combined $250 million. Safe to say, she can afford any college she wants.
