Most people will never meet the goddess that is Cher, but Andy Cohen’s son, Ben, had the opportunity before he turned 5-years-old!
Sadly, he wasn’t exactly impressed. In a now viral photo, you can see Ben clinging on to his father as they stand next to a smiling Cher for a photo.

During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Cohen explained his son was in the middle of having a tantrum because they were leaving the Macy’s Day Parade.
He was in the middle of a major tantrum because I was removing him from the Macy’s Day Parade. Once she came on, in my mind, the parade was over. She is my Santa. For him, Santa signified the end of the parade and when I removed him, he was — he could not believe we were leaving. We ran into her in Macy’s when we were departing and Ben was flipping out. He was in his feelings.”
Oh no, lol. He explained the situation to Cher, and she offered up some simple advice, “Stay and watch the parade,” but Cohen told her, “I was like, ‘It’s over. You sang your song. We are done.”
Hopefully Ben doesn’t hold this against Cher. It would be a shame if he couldn’t fully appreciate this bop…
