Tia Mowry, perhaps best known for starring in the hit show, ‘Sister, Sister‘ has made a nice living for herself by being an actress.
But the 45-year-old mom doesn’t expect her children to follow in her footsteps. During an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show this week, Mowry talked about her kids, 5-year-old Cairo and 12-year-old Cree.
She revealed that Cree is actually pretty talented when it comes to acting, however, he’s more interested in basketball right now.
You know, as it stands for right now, I don’t see it happening. But I do see Cree, he’s very talented when it comes to acting. He was on one of my shows that I had done last year called Family Reunion and he did an episode of that. And he’s so good. But I don’t think he wants to pursue that right now, its all about basketbal. You know, his dad loves basketball, so it’s great way for them to bond.
For those who don’t know, Tia shares both her kids with her ex-husband, Cory Hardrict. They shocked their fans in 2022 by filing for a divorce after 14 years of marriage. The good news is they both seem to be much happier outside of the marriage now.
Elsewhere in the chat, Tia talked about how she and her family went to Thailand for the holidays.
It’s been amazing. My family, we all went to Thailand, which is something that I wanted to do for a long time. I feel like it’s the best gift that I can give to my children is traveling and just creating wonderful memories with them and experiences and all that good stuff.
We could not agree more! Experiences and memories will always last longer than the latest video game console.
