‘Saltburn‘ star Barry Keoghan is one of Hollywood’s hottest actors, and he’ll likely be here to stay for years to come.
But his time will be spread thin now that he’s a father. That’s right, the 31-year-old actor actually became a dad for the first time while filming Saltburn.
During a recent interview with GQ, he revealed that he got just one day off when his son was born.
They gave me a day off. Good on them! Day off, and straight on to night shoots and night feedings — boom!
Doesn’t seem like nearly enough time, but we suppose they have a schedule to follow. They plan out movies for years, so it’s not like they could just switch things up last minute.
And it’s not like Barry minded all that much.
It was probably the best time of my life, to be fair. Havin’ a baby boy, and leadin’ a movie. It was the best time of my life, I must say. I feel a responsibility, I feel an enormous amount of pressure, which is good. And I can’t get the little boy off my mind. It’s beautiful Y’know, it’s crazy, but when he looks at you, you feel like the most important person in the world.
How sweet.
Barry decided on the name “Brando” for his son because, well, it just sounds cool.
I obviously love Marlon Brando, but I just, yeah — for a first name I thought it was quite cool. To have Brando in your name — feckin’ hell, man!
