Dealing with a picky eater at home? You’re not alone. Nearly every parent understands your struggles, even famous parents.
Chrissy Teigen and chef David Chang were on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week, and they talked a lot about how picky their children are when it comes to food.
Even professional chef Chang says his kids are picky and it’s hard to get them on a balanced diet, which seemed to provide Clarkson with a lot of relief.
That actually makes me feel good. When I do cook, I’m like, ‘Do you know how hard this was for me? I don’t do this.’ And I feel like I did a good job and they do not eat it. It makes me feel good that you are an actual chef. They are just like, ‘Hard pass, where’s the mac and cheese?’
For those who don’t know, Clarkson has a 9-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
After Teigen chimed in, talking about how picky her son Miles is, Clarkson went on to share how she believes her son can actually sniff out the veggies.
I have to sneak it in, into a cup that is colorful, that you can’t tell what the color is. And that’s how I sneak it in — in like a juice or a smoothie. He will not do it. He will smell it out and be like, ‘This is a vegetable.’ And he is like hard against it.
Ah. The struggles of parenting.
