Kelly Clarkson brought a very special guest to the 2024 Grammys… her 7-year-old son, Remington!
Clarkson looked gorgeous as always, wearing an off-the-shoulder white gown with tuxedo-inspired lapels. And Remy rocked a red velvet tux with some pretty snazzy spiked work boots. Clarkson’s 9-year-old daughter River Rose did not join them on the carpet, so it looks like this was a mother-son date night.
And while Clarkson let Remy pose for the cameras, she’s still very protective of her children, recently admitting she won’t let them use social media.
That can be really hard on kids in general but especially kids with parents in the public eye. So I have informed them they’re not allowed to, under my roof, ever have [it].
Can’t say we blame her! Social media can be damaging, and there’s a good argument to be made that kids (or even adults) shouldn’t be on it at all.
Clarkson did leave the door open a little, revealing if her kids make a good argument when they’re older, she may consider it…
My daughter was like, ‘Well, what if Dad lets me?’ I’m like, ‘Well, you’re there four days a month. Enjoy that.’ And right now he’s not letting them do it either. I’ll listen when they’re older, but until they have a solid argument, it’s a no.
