At 34-years-old, Dakota Johnson says she’s finally open to becoming a mother. The ‘Madame Web‘ star was interviewed by Bustle recently and she was asked about potentially starting a family with her partner, Chris Martin.
She told the magazine:
I’m so open to that. I’ve gotten to this place where I really want to experience everything that life has to offer. And especially being a woman, I’m like, ‘What a magical f—— thing to do. What a crazy, magical, wild experience. If that’s meant to happen to me, I’m totally down for it.
It will likely be a conversation she needs to have with Martin, as he already shares two kids (Apple, Moses) with his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow. Apple and Moses are 19 and 17, so it’s been a long time since Martin went through the baby stage.
Elsewhere in the interview, Johnson admitted she loves being their stepmom, “I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart.”
How sweet! Motherhood certainly seems to be on her brain… even dating back several years ago when she said this during an interview with Marie Claire…
