Megan Fox has been a star since she was 20-years-old, when she landed her breakthrough role in the action film series, Transformers.
Ever since then, she’s been in the public eye, and it hasn’t always been easy for her. In fact, most of the time it’s been very difficult.
The now 37-year-old actress has three kids — Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey 6 — with her ex, Brian Austin Green. She and Green have been pretty private when it comes to their children, trying their best to keep them out of the spotlight.
But as they grow older, Fox is starting to realize that’s going to be nearly impossible to do. During a recent interview on the ‘Call Her Daddy‘ podcast, Fox talked about how the thought keeps her up at night…
I lose a lot of sleep about that, especially because I know one of them is going to be in the public — probably all three of them. They’re drop-dead gorgeous kids and both of their parents are actors in the industry so it’s likely they’re going to have some type of public platform at a certain point. I worry about that every day.
She also revealed that, so far, she has successfully raised her kids without screens. They don’t have phones or iPads, but she knows one day that’s going to change.
I can’t keep that up forever, eventually, that will happen, I’m trying to delay it as long as possible, but when they get a little bit older. It’s still too early and I don’t want to put the weight of my experience on them. I want them to have their own experience.
It sounds like she’s worrying about the right things, so we think her kids will probably turn out just fine. She has put a great foundation in place to guide them.
