As some of you may know, 44-year-old actress/comedian Rebel Wilson welcomed her first baby into the world just 16 months ago.
She welcomed a daughter named Royce with her fiancee, Ramona.
During a recent cover story for PEOPLE, Wilson talked a lot about parenting and even revealed the things that have surprised her most about motherhood.
The surprising thing is that you never just walk out of the house and not have plans. You can’t just go, ‘I feel like going to the movie cinema,’ and just walk out of the house. No, no, no. You have to plan what’s happening with the baby. Is the baby coming with you? Have the baby’s meals been prepped? You’ve got to communicate about the baby’s schedule, when her nap time is, all the things.
Ah, yeah. That’s a big change for a lot of people. For 30 years of your life, it’s been all about you, and then suddenly it’s almost never about you.
Even though not being able to hit up the movies anytime you want might sound like a negative, Wilson makes it clear the joy her baby girl brings her makes it all worth it.
Obviously, I knew I’d love her so much because I wanted her so much to come into my world. But the love when I see her little face and I go, it’s like so much, you want to eat her. She’s so cute and adorable.
Oh, and she said her daughter recently learned how to say “mama” and it’s just melting Rebel’s heart.
