57-year-old actress Halle Berry has two kids — 16-year-old Nahla and 10-year-old Maceo-Robert — and as much as she’d love to share her work with her whole family, she knows sometimes it’s best to keep them away.
You see, she stars in the upcoming psychological horror film, Never Let Go, and Extra asked her if she’d let her kids see it.
Berry replied:
My 16-year-old, yeah. My son would have nightmares for a very long time, so no. I mean, he saw a trailer of a scary movie and it took us a year to get him to go to bed by himself, so he won’t be seeing it.
Lol, aw. We get it. Sometimes we’re afraid to watch scary movies too. Hopefully her next movie is a rom-com or something. Maybe she can voice a cartoon even.
Back in 2021, when Berry was honored with the People’s Icon Award at the People’s Choice Awards, she gave a special shoutout to her children…
My two little kids, they have to lose so much time with their mommy because I get to go work and do what I love, so thank you Nahla, thank you Maceo — I hope you find something in life that you can love and you can do with as much vigor and as much zest as I do what I do. I love you guys.
She shares both kids with her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez. Berry was ordered to pay Olivier $8,000 a month in child support payments.
