You all know Courteney Cox as Monica from ‘Friends‘ but to her only child, Coco, she’s simply mom.
And during an appearance on Wednesday’s “Minnie Questions” podcast, the 59-year-old actress admitted she does have some regrets when it comes to parenting her now 19-year-old daughter.
She wishes she would have been a firmer parent.
I didn’t want to step in even though I knew something wasn’t right because she would get so mad at me. I did understand and I should’ve trusted myself and I should’ve stepped in. I’m not saying I made her who she is, but you do see things in other people, whether it’s just always taking care of people and being the nicest person.
Cox shares Coco with her ex-husband, David Arquette. They have struggled with co-parenting throughout the years. Some reports claim Coco has a better relationship with her father, but that’s just speculation.
To us, it seems like Cox and Coco are pretty darn close. Heck, they have matching arrow tattoos!
They got the tattoos alongside actress Laura Dern and her two kids.
