Kendall Jenner could be considered the black sheep of the Kardashians. She’s the only sister who hasn’t started a family. She also doesn’t seem to like the fame as much as her sisters, and she doesn’t live near her family.
During a new interview with Vogue, the 28-year-old model revealed she’s the only one of her sisters that doesn’t live within walking distance from their mom.
Even as a kid, I’ve always put up boundaries. There are days when I look at what they have and think, ‘That’s really special.’ I do like being a bit removed, but one day I’ll make my way, probably. When I was younger I used to say that by 27 I’d love to have kids. Now I’m past that and I feel like I’m still so young. I’m enjoying my kidless freedom.
28-years-old is young. In fact, a lot of people are waiting until their 30s to have kids these days, so Kendall shouldn’t compare herself to her sisters.
Last year, Kendall admitted she eventually wants two kids because she wants to make sure her future kid has a sibling to grow up with. Kendall’s mom, Kris Jenner, pressured her a bit, saying, “she’d be such a good mommy,” but Kendall pushed back a little.
I swear I got this and I will give you a grandkid when the time is right and when it all makes sense perfectly. I just think about my life and the freedom that I have right now, the ease I have in picking up and going somewhere.
