As most of you know, Meghan Trainor has two children with her husband, Daryl Sabara. They have a super cute family together and often share their adventures on Trainor’s popular TikTok account.
And while it’s all sunshine and rainbows right now, Trainor recalled a pretty frightening moment she had before giving birth to her youngest, 10-month-old Barry.
During a recent interview on Mythical Kitchen’s “Last Meals” the 30-year-old singer remembered when she first found out she was pregnant with Barry. She talked about finding out she was pregnant in the morning and filming the surprise.
Then, she had a full day of interviews ahead of her.
I did interviews and they were like, ‘How are you?’ and I said, ‘I’m thriving.’ I was so happy. And then, right before my last interview, I look down and I’m gushing blood. I ruined a chair. I go, ‘Oh no,’ and they’re like ‘Okay, Ryan Seacrest is on. Go!’
Like a true professional, she completed the interview and managed to fight back the tears, believing she had just suffered a miscarriage.
I went to the bathroom and saw what was happening, and I was like alright I had a baby this morning and now they’re gone. I was like I’m just gonna keep testing, and the pregnancy stick still said positive. I got a blood test done, and it’s like the number is zero if you’re not pregnant. My number was 90,000.
Turns out, she had already been pregnant for a month at that point.
At six weeks I went in and she goes, ‘Woah, that’s a 10-week-old baby.’ So I was pregnant ever since the [Jimmy] Fallon performance.
