‘Harry Potter‘ star Daniel Radcliffe likes to keep his private life… private! He does not often talk about his family, but during a recent interview with PEOPLE, he was nice enough to give fans a little update.
For those who don’t know, the 34-year-old actor welcomed his first son last year with his longtime girlfriend, Erin Darke.
In his exclusive interview with PEOPLE, he revealed that his son has started to say things…
He’s great. He’s talking and saying, you know, nonsense, but very, very charming nonsense.
Radcliffe is currently starring in a production on Broadway, so his schedule is insane. He admitted that he didn’t get to spend much time with his son on Father’s Day weekend.
I’m going to be doing most of my celebrating of Father’s Day tomorrow. I saw him in the morning and then went to [Tonys] rehearsal and then went back and saw him again. And then I had a matinee today, so I haven’t done a ton of hanging out with my son on Father’s Day, but I will be doing that tomorrow, and I’m very excited about it.
The last time we got an update from Radcliffe was back in October of 2023, when he told the Today Show that he’s been enjoying the first six months of fatherhood.
I think I’ve been, really, I think a lot of people said, ‘Just get through the first six months and after that it gets better.’ But I’ve kind of really enjoyed the first six months.
