Music legend Elton John is officially saying “goodbye” to life on the road. The 77-year-old artist told Entertainment Tonight that he’ll never tour again.

And it’s not because he doesn’t have the energy, it’s just that he wants to save all the time and energy he does have for his two children, 13-year-old Zachary and 11-year-old Elijah. For those who don’t know, he shares both kids with his husband, David Furnish.

During the joint interview, the reporter asked John if he’d go on tour again, and he simply responded with, “No,” but Furnish was nice enough to expand on that answer.

Elton just finished his final world tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road, back in July of 2023 in Sweden. The massive tour began in 2018 in North America.

So if you didn’t see him live during that five-year period, chances are you won’t see him live again, unless it’s like a special one-off concert type thing.

Back in January, Elton and David celebrated their son’s 11th birthday.
