At 51-years-old, Wayne Brady is a father once again. The improv legend shocked viewers on his new Freeform reality series by announcing he welcomed a baby just six months ago.
He admitted that having a newborn at 51-years-old was not on his bingo card. “When I first found out, I was floored. I didn’t see it coming. So was I happy? No, because I was in shock,” he candidly told the cameras.
Brady welcomed his son, Val, with his ex-girlfriend, Tina, who he apparently dated during the pandemic. “How do I co-parent with this person that I am not with?” he pondered.

To make the situation worse, Brady’s ex-wife, Mandie Taketa, is still very much involved in Brady’s life, and she does not like Tina at all.
She also explained how this baby news came to light…
Tina and Wayne had been broken up a year. Then [his] grandma Val passes away, so we go to her funeral in the Virgin Islands, then we come back. Something happened — you fill in the blank. Then, two weeks later, we get a phone call from Tina that she’s pregnant with Wayne’s baby.
Mandie and Brady share a 21-year-old daughter named Maile together, and unfortunately, she doesn’t like Tina either. She had apparently warned her father about this happening.
Yikes. Sounds like a mess… we can’t wait to watch it unfold on his reality show, Wayne Brady: The Family Remix.
