Former ‘Glee‘ actress Lea Michele had a lengthy conversation with PEOPLE this week, and she talked about how this second pregnancy is so much different than her first.
The 37-year-old singer/actress gave birth to her first-born, Ever Leo, back in 2020, and we all know what happened in 2020.
It was an incredibly different experience, being pregnant with Ever. We were in California, and we were in a pandemic. So it was a lot of just hanging out at home and very minimal activity. And now, it’s New York, it’s the busy streets. I’m working, I’m a mom, and it’s very different.
And while it might be a little more difficult being so active during this second pregnancy, she’d still take this over being stuck in a pandemic.
One major advantage? She can actually share this pregnancy with her friends and family…
None of my friends saw me pregnant, ever. You know, my best friend, Jonathan [Groff], never saw me pregnant. He wasn’t with me, and my dad was in New York, he was on the East Coast [during] the pandemic. So to be able to have this experience and share this time with my friends and family has been really wonderful, and not something that I got to do before.
We’re so happy to hear it!
For those who missed the news, Michele and her husband, Zandy Reich, made the pregnancy announcement back in March, revealing they were expecting a baby girl.
She’s expected to give birth later this year!
