At 60-years-old, one might think Hoda Kotb would be done with kids, but apparently she’s keeping the door open for more!
As some of you may know, the ‘Today‘ co-anchor has two daughters, 7-year-old Haley and 4-year-old Hope. And during a recent appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, Hoda revealed she kept all their baby stuff just in case.
I get signs. Like, I have held on to all of our baby stuff, all of it, because here’s the truth about life: I keep meeting people who remind you that your heart’s ability to expand is beyond measure. So I have not closed the door because I think life is really interesting.
Life is interesting! You won’t find us arguing with that.
It’s worth noting that life is about to get even more interesting for Hoda and her family. They’re right in the middle of a big move. Earlier this year, she revealed she was moving her family out of their NYC apartment and into a home in the ‘burbs.
She was hoping to already be moved in, but she recently spent a couple of weeks in Paris covering the Olympics, so the timeline was extended.
But still, she’s excited to make the move. She likes the idea of her kids being able to play out in a yard, as opposed to trash-covered streets.
I want my kids to feel grass on their feet, and play in the yard, and ride bikes down the street, and run up and down the stairs. I just see that life for them in this perfect house in this beautiful little town where I know they’ll be able to blossom into beautiful, independent, strong women.
Sounds like a dream!
