41-year-old actor Lamorne Morris, best known for his co-starring role in the hit sitcom, New Girl, received a very important phone call last month.
He received an Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Limited Or Anthology Series category for his work on Fargo. It was a huge deal for Morris as it was his first Emmy nom.
In a video shared to his Instagram account, Morris can be seen getting the phone call, and his 3-year-old daughter Lily is sitting next to him. When Morris starts crying, Lily laughs and asks, “Daddy, are you crying again?”
What a special moment. We do wonder how often Morris is crying for his daughter to be like, “Oh, not again!”
But this was obviously a huge moment for him. He’s been working in Hollywood for years, and to finally get recognized for his work? That has to feel special.
