During a recent appearance on The Talk, Wayne Brady admitted he has joked for years about getting vasectomy, but now he’s actually considering it.
For those who don’t know, the 52-year-old ‘Whose Line’ star welcomed a surprise baby with his ex-girlfriend, Tina, back in 2022. He admitted at the time that he was shocked by the news, but he was determined to be a good father to his new baby boy.
I never want Val to grow up thinking that he should be ashamed or look back and go, ‘Oh, my dad didn’t want me,’ or he was ashamed of me. Because I want him, in his own way, to know that I love him as much as I love Maile, who is of me and that I had a part in creating. So I had to do that work.
Maile is Brady’s first born, who he shares with his ex-wife, Mandie Taketa. They actually joined him on ‘The Talk’ alongside Mandie’s new husband, Jason Fordham.
They all co-star on Brady’s new reality show, Wayne Brady: The Family Remix.
During the interview, both Maile and Mandie joked about how Brady has been hinting at a vasectomy for a long time now, but has never actually gone through with it. He replied, saying now is the time.
Yeah. Look, I’ve already got two [kids]. I’m 52. I’m not Moses or somebody from the Bible that needs to go forth. Nope. I’m done. In fact, I should schedule an appointment right after the show.
