Halle Bailey knows a thing or two about Disney. After all, she starred as Ariel in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.
She loves Disney, but she’s not ready to take her son to Disneyland just yet. For those who don’t know, she welcomed her first baby boy, Halo, into the world last year.
During an interview with PEOPLE, the 24-year-old actress revealed she can’t wait to take Halo to the magical land, but she wants to wait until he can actually appreciate the experience.
I’m so excited to take him to Disneyland and Disney World for the first time. But, I want him to be old enough to know what’s going on. So I’m like, ‘What’s the best age [to bring him?’], and people keep telling me three or four is just a good age, because they will know what’s up.
Sounds like a smart decision to us. After all, a trip to Disney can set you back thousands of dollars. Might as well make it count!
But even though she’s not ready to take Halo to Disney, she has traveled with him multiple times, and she claims he’s a great travel buddy.
He is the best travel partner. It’s so cool to be able to see him get excited about the place that we’re in and try the food and like it — because he’s eating real food now. It’s so cool to see.
Sounds like she is loving motherhood!
