Matthew McConaughey’s 16-year-old son, Levi, recently landed his first movie role in the upcoming film, Way of the Warrior Kid.
He reportedly has a supporting role in the movie, which stars Chris Pratt and Linda Cardellini.
Production is currently taking place in San Diego, and cameras caught Levi preparing for a scene on the beach, and wouldn’t you know it, his famous dad was right by his side. Sources say Matthew has no role in the movie, but he was allowed on set to mentor his son.
As you can see in this fan video that was taken, it looks as if Matthew is trying to calm Levi down before a big scene.
A few years back, Matthew spoke to Entertainment Tonight about his kids, revealing he’d be supportive of their decision to enter the entertainment industry.
Look, I want them to do whatever it is they’re fashioned to do. Whatever they have an innate ability to do, and are willing to put in the work to get better at it. Whatever that is, I want them to do that. If that becomes something in the industry that I’m in? Bravo. I’ve met some of the most wonderful people in my life in my industry, I love what I do.
Looks like he’s holding true to his word.
