As most of you probably know, Hoda Kotb has officially moved out of New York City and into the suburbs.
It was a move she had been wanting to make for a couple years now, thanks in large part to her daughters, Haley, 7, and Hope, 5. As they grow older, Kotb wants to make sure they have a normal childhood, and part of childhood is being able to ride your bike around the neighborhood.
They couldn’t do that in the mean streets of NYC. Kotb made the move to the suburbs earlier this year and she and her family have been loving it.
And now, she’s taking another step into motherhood. She’s getting a minivan!
On the Thursday, Nov. 14 episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, the 60-year-old host made the special announcement…
Guys, I’m getting a minivan! A Toyota Sienna! I’m so excited. I have wanted a Toyota Sienna for a long time. And, let me explain, me and a minivan is like a dream. I’ve wanted it and I haven’t had it. Also, I am sometimes carpool mom. I can only take three kids because there’s no other room. Not anymore! I cannot wait for it.
LOL! We’re not sure we have ever seen someone so excited to get a minivan, but hey, we respect it. Minivans are super useful.
It’s been so much fun to see Kotb’s transformation into full-time mom.
