At 64-years-old, Hugh Grant is still a full-time father. The lovable (albeit grumpy) actor has a total of five kids, and they’re all under the age of 14.
He has daughters Lulu, 8 and Blue, 6, and son John Mungo, 12, with his wife Anna Eberstein, plus daughter Tabitha Xiao Xi, 13, and son Felix Chang Hong, 11, who he shares with Tinglan Hong.
During a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson asked Grant if he was a “jungle gym dad” explaining the term as when your kids crawl all over you.
Oh I love a bit of that. I mean there’s a lot to dread because I’m old and it’s noisy and it’s unbearable and I do a bit of hiding in the loo.
After leading with his patented sarcasm, Grant became a little emotional as he talked about traveling back home to his kids after the interview…
I mean, I’m going home tonight and, let’s face it, the bit where they jump in your arms — my 6-year-old calls it her ‘chimpanzee hug.’ I quite like that. I’ve made myself cry.
How sweet! We’re sure his kids think the world of him. We know trying to raise five kids at 64-years-old can be a challenge, but hey, he signed up for this!
