When you’re a celebrity, you have to be extra cautious when handing your phone over to your kids, especially if you have other famous people in your contacts.
Blake Shelton learned this the hard way.
During an interview with CMT, the 48-year-old country music star remembered a time when his stepson, Zuma, now 16, accidentally FaceTimed Vince Gill.
He thought he was calling his nanny Vince, and he called Vince Gill. I was walking through the house and I heard Vince Gill’s voice kind of laughing. I looked and I saw Zuma throw the phone down. He was like, ‘I don’t know. There was some man that answered Vince’s phone.’ And I looked, and he had called Vince Gill, who was in Amsterdam — He FaceTimed him while he was in Amsterdam with The Eagles!
Whoops! The good news is that Vince handled it well. Blake texted him to apologize, and Vince called him back to let him know it was all good.
In fact, he actually thought it was Blake drunk dialing him.
