It’s the end of an era. TODAY co-host Hoda Kotb’s last day as a full-time host was today, Jan. 10, 2025. She had been with the network for 17 years.
Last year, she announced she was ready for semi-retirement after moving to the suburbs to create a family home with her two daughters, Haley, 7, and Hope, 5.
During a recent interview, Hoda revealed she’s looking forward to getting into a normal rhythm…
I’m going to let them find the voice inside them. I’m going to let them take more trips and stay up a little later because part of the reason I put them to bed at that hour is because I’ve got to go to bed. I’m like, ‘Goodnight! Everyone’s going to bed.’ They’re like, ‘It’s 6:30!’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, lights out!’
Her schedule has dominated for so long working such a high pressure job. Sounds like she’s looking forward to giving the control to someone else.

“I’m just going to let us be a family with a normal rhythm of life. See what we become,” she revealed.
You’ll remember, she talked a lot about her decision to move out of the city last year, sharing her desires to build a normal life for her kids.
I want my kids to feel grass on their feet, and play in the yard, and ride bikes down the street, and run up and down the stairs. I just see that life for them in this perfect house in this beautiful little town.
Enjoy it, Hoda! You deserve it.
