Tina Knowles is a mom to perhaps one of the most famous people in the world, Beyonce. The 71-year-old fashion designer/businesswoman was on The Jennifer Hudson Show this past week to promote her upcoming memoir, Matriarch.
During the interview, Tina was asked if her 13-year-old granddaughter, Blue Ivy, ever comes to her for advice.
Her and her mother are really tight and so they don’t need me to give much advice. They tell me to mind my business.
That makes sense. If my mom was Beyonce, I’d probably only go to her for advice as well. Why would you need anyone else?

I feel like the teenage years are the most difficult, but it will get better and you get what you put in. That’s what I truly believe. The more you put into your kids, the more love and care and support you give them, the more you get out of it.
That’s true for pretty much anything in life! The more you put in, the better the results.
