Adam Brody has had a career resurgence in the past year, thanks in large to part to the success of his Netflix show, Nobody Wants This.
This means his personal life is coming into the spotlight more. For those who don’t know, Brody is married to former ‘Gossip Girl’ actress, Leighton Meester. They got married back in 2014 and share two kids together: 9-year-old Arlo and a 4-year-old son whose name has not been shared.
They like to keep their private life away from the media, but during a Vogue interview, Meester gave a rare update on their family…
My kids, they get what we do. They come on location a lot. I don’t think they’re fazed at all. They get a lot of us off set and a lot of us not working, which has been always a really big benefit for both of us.
Meester took some time off work when she first had Arlo, but in 2018 she got back in it, starring in the TV series, Single Parents.
Back in September, Brody talked with TODAY about his and Meester’s parenting styles…
Of course, I’m going to feel like it’s the perfect balance of all of it. But yeah, I don’t know. [We’re] very honest. We have some very truthful conversations, for better or worse. But other than that, I wouldn’t say overly strict. I’m not overly strict but I see the sharp edges, literally. And their heads aren’t gonna… I want to keep those heads maintained.
