Gwyneth Paltrow is no stranger to people questioning her decisions. Her wellness/lifestyle brand Goop has put out a number of products that have made people roll their eyes. The high prices have also caused a lot of eye rolls.
Despite this, the 52-year-old star continued with it, and it’s a pretty huge success. Back in 2018, the company was valued at $250 million.
During a recent conversation with PEOPLE, Gwyneth talked about making sure her kids know it’s okay to follow their dreams, even if they get pushback.
I think I really encourage them to be true to themselves and, like, to do what feels right to them. I think like all the mistakes I made were being talked in or out of something. I really want them, even if I don’t agree with it, like, I want them to be really true to their idea of their purpose and their individuality. She [Apple] still has another year of college, so, you know, I’m like right, soak it in, and you know, it goes really fast.
For those who don’t know, she shares Apple and her 19-year-old son Moses with her ex-husband Chris Martin. She’s also a stepmom to husband Brad Falchuk’s two kids.
She’s super excited right now because Moses and Apple are about to come home for summer break. “They’re done for the year so I can’t, I can’t wait.”
