Beyonce and Jay Z are fairly private when it comes to their family. Their firstborn, Blue Ivy, is starting to enter the spotlight a little, joining her mom on tour.
But when it comes to Beyonce and Jay Z’s 6-year-old twins? Well, not much is known. During a new interview with E! News, Beyonce’s mother, Tina, gave everyone a little update on her grandkids, Sir and Rumi.
Rumi is amazing — an amazing artist, painter and creator. How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? All we talk about is creativity and fashion. Sir is very quiet. He does all of the numbers stuff, so he’s not into fashion as much.
You see, this is why we wouldn’t talk about kids or grandkids if we were famous, because you know people are going to be like, “Wow! It sounds like she doesn’t even like Sir. She just gushed over Rumi the whole time!”
We’re sure Tina thinks both of them are equally amazing.
It’s worth noting that Rumi broke a musical record previously held by Blue Ivy, becoming the youngest woman to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
Rumi can be heard on her mom’s track ‘Protector’ off her new album Cowboy Carter. In the song, Rumi asks Beyoncé, ‘Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?’ before the singer begins the first verse.
